CD Informations
This anthology of works for voice and piano by Julian Carrillo, composer of San Luis Potosi, contributes to the rescue and internationalization of the Mexican heritage of the art song. Its bilingual Spanish-English format and the transcription of the texts to IPA can be used by anyone looking for a new repertoire of Mexican songs anywhere in the world. It includes comments on the life of the composer as well as on the poets and the poems that form the text of his songs. A CD with the recording of the songs accompanies this anthology, as an instrumental and style reference for the singer.
