ARIAS FOR YOUNG VOICES is the experienced and dedicated work of Barbro Marklund, Professor of Singing at Norwegian Academy of Music. The series is the beginner’s aria anthology that provides a complete platform to launch classical singing studies.
Arias for Young Voices contains 20 opera arias and 10 sacred arias from the early days of opera to the 21th century — specially selected for the needs of young voices. Its pedagogical method offers students and teachers not only additional information about the composer, synopsis and voice fach, but also full IPA translations and the unique feature of chords set to the piano part.
In all, Arias for Young Voices serves as a useful source for concerts and auditions, as well as the entrance to the joyous path of becoming a professional singer. Furthermore, last anthology for bass is to be released in the autumn 2021.
